Real life rewards
Hey guys,
I was thinking of getting some real life rewards for our future games, what do you think? Like maybe the first prize will be a clay ocarina, 2nd prize a manga, 3rd prize a figurine, and so on and so forth.
Do you think it would be worth it?
Maybe like...
The most active during the year gets the new Zelda game or something like that. But that prize would be the most expensive.
The other prizes can be like a clay ocarina, a figurine, a manga, a shirt, something like that. Anyways, I would like more feedback on it first before I invest in it.

That sounds like such a nice gesture from you, Zellie! Remember to pay your bills before you give us gifts! I like the idea. And maybe if I'll feel like donating to the cause one of these days.

Of yes, of course Gyorg. After all, I have a wedding to save up for, hahahaha. Hopefully next year! But no ring yet so I don't know.
And in no way is anyone obliged to donate. We'll take it slow. Do one or two things at first. Hopefully, I'll be rich soon and so I can totally splurge!

Splurge? Hmmm...sounds like an aquatic term.

Re: Real life rewards
I'd love to have a clay OOT ocarina just because I let the ex keep the one we shared. To have my own would be awesome.

HAHAHA! Right up your alley Gyorg? SPLASH! SPLASH!
Yeah, I was thinking, if we say...
The most active (in terms of how many posts, how many activities, even how many items) member for the year *July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013* gets an ocarina.
The 12 hole tenor ocarina as seen here
Or maybe even the rupee ocarinas for like smaller winners. Like the winner of the Hyrule Olympics.

Yeah! I had the 12 hole OOT ocarina! Ugh I miss it so much! I'd LOVE to have a 12 hole! I can just imagine the awesome songs and videos I could make with it! XD
Also, that yearly length of time is perfect. It's definitely a great motivation to be get active again.
Oh my lord........ It's gorgeous. <3 http://www.stlocarina.com/ztenor2dis.html

As a musician, I would enjoy such a nice instrument of epic genius. Then I can play Saria's Song all day long in the forest! XD
@Malon, by golly that is beautiful.

Re: Real life rewards
Alrighty, that'll be our first thing to work on. I need to get the wording just right and we can have a nice prize at the end of the year or something for the winner.
Keep a look out for other things we can use too. I know Malon had suggested a hoodie, or even t-shirts.
For those, if they're cheap enough, I was thinking, (like, for example, the Secret Fairy event or Dress-Up Link event), all the participants who actually took part in the events can get a t-shirt and then the winner gets the really nice prize.
What is that site Link always visits? With all the Zelda stuff on it?

Oh I forgot about those shirts and hoodies I found! They are so epic!
I don't know what site Link visits. Have you tried to ask him on Facebook?

He's afraid that I will eat him. But trust me I'm on a no-people-diet.

Very, very true.Zelda wrote:He should be visiting the guild anyway!
EDIT! I just found this in my Youtube feed!
It's a potion ocarina! Basically, it's an ocarina shaped like an LOZ potion. It's very cute!!! Six holes and its range is alto pretty much.
Potion page: http://www.stlocarina.com/potion3.html
EDIT AGAIN! THIS is the ocarina I used to have! It's from Songbird Ocarinas. [Click!]
Honestly, the STL ocarinas look a lot better than Songbird's.
Re: Real life rewards
Legit. But I would still get the classic styled Ocarina of Time.
